Dubai Press Club has unveiled the agenda for the fifth edition of Dubai PodFest, set to take place on 30th September 2025 at the Ritz-Carlton, DIFC.

The event, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will gather leading podcasters, audio creators, and industry experts to explore the growth and future of podcasting in the region.

Launched five years ago, Dubai PodFest has grown into the region’s largest annual podcasting gathering, coinciding this year with International Podcast Day. Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson of Dubai Media Council and President of Dubai Press Club, highlighted the event’s role in strengthening Arab media and engaging new audiences through podcasting.

The agenda includes keynote sessions, panels, and workshops addressing monetisation, audience engagement, and content innovation. Bryan Barletta, President of Podcast Movement, will lead the opening keynote on ‘The Future of Podcast Monetisation,’ discussing revenue strategies from sponsorships to platform collaborations. Other sessions will explore podcast advertising, the rise of crime and health podcasts, and the transition of broadcasters to digital audio.

Dubai PodFest also emphasizes practical learning, with workshops designed to provide hands-on guidance from production to monetisation. Mahfoudha Abdullah, Project Manager of the event, noted that participants would gain insights from real success stories and industry experts.

The festival aims to position Dubai as a hub for creativity and media innovation, enabling Arab talent to expand globally while highlighting the transformative role of podcasts in shaping awareness, storytelling, and social impact.
