Dubai Police has unveiled three new Mercedes-Benz luxury patrol vehicles, reinforcing its commitment to safety and modern policing at the city’s key tourist destinations.

The announcement coincided with World Tourism Day on 27 September, highlighting Dubai’s focus on blending innovation with public service.

Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, inaugurated the vehicles at the Tourism Police Department’s World Tourism Day ceremony. The event was attended by senior Dubai Police officials and representatives from Mercedes-Benz, including Thomas Schulz, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Cars.

The new fleet comprises the Mercedes SL 55 AMG, Mercedes GT 63 AMG, and the electric Mercedes EQS 580. Each vehicle features advanced mechanical, technical, and AI-driven systems, including interactive displays providing real-time data for professional handling and operational efficiency.

Brigadier Al Hajri praised the long-standing collaboration with Gargash Enterprises, the official Mercedes-Benz dealer, noting that the luxury fleet will enhance police visibility across tourist hubs such as Burj Khalifa, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and JBR. He highlighted that the vehicles will support a wide range of services, from safety patrols to visitor assistance, while showcasing Dubai Police’s community engagement.

Thomas Schulz emphasized the strategic partnership between Dubai Police and Mercedes-Benz, describing it as a model for sustainable and modern mobility solutions. The ceremony concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields between Brigadier Al Hajri and Mr. Schulz, marking the milestone in the ongoing collaboration.

The initiative reflects Dubai Police’s continuous efforts to modernize its fleet, integrate cutting-edge technologies, and maintain high standards of safety and service for residents and visitors alike.
