The Dubai Police has celebrated ranking first the Government of Dubai Customer Happiness Index and Second in the Employee Happiness Index for the year 2020.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Lt. General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police; and his assistants as well as a directors of Dubai Police general departments, police stations and councils.

Lt. General Al Marri said that this achievement is a proof of Dubai Police's keenness on realizing the happiness of their customers and employees alike through their initiatives, projects, programs, and strategic plans, guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the happiest city in the world.

"We focused our endeavors to provide the best customer services per the best international standards and practices that ensure the community satisfaction and the quality of life while maintaining the employees' happiness which plays a major role in positively impacting the working system and increasing our corporate performance," Lt. General Al Marri added.        

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, approved yesterday (Monday, 18th of January) the results of the 2020 Government of Dubai Customer Happiness, Mystery Shopper and Employee Happiness Index surveys.

Sheikh Hamdan said Dubai seeks to enhance excellence and innovation as part of its strategic development approach, guided by the objective of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to promote happiness as a core value in the community.

It in the Employee Happiness Index Dubai Statistics Centre ranked first in the Employee Happiness Index with a rating of 97.44%, followed by Dubai Police with 96.68%, and Dubai Public Prosecution with 95.86%.

However, in the customer happiness category Dubai Police ranked first achieving a rating of 91.6%, followed by the RTA with 90.1% and DHA with 88.5%. The scores in the Index were based on customer feedback surveys that were designed according to the specific nature of each entity. Both face-to-face and phone surveys were conducted among customers. In addition, the Dubai Government Excellence Programme trained people from different nationalities to participate in the Mystery Shopper survey.
