Dubai Police deepened international cooperation efforts at the World Police Summit 2025, welcoming top global security officials and signing a landmark agreement with the Italian Carabinieri to enhance joint law enforcement efforts.

On the summit’s second day at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Lt. Gen. Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, hosted several senior dignitaries, including UN Under-Secretary-General Gilles Michaud and interior ministers from Belarus, North Macedonia, and Slovakia, alongside top police officials from Poland and Italy.

The discussions focused on strengthening international partnerships, exchanging best practices, and tackling shared challenges in global law enforcement. Al Marri highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing transnational crime and reaffirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to contributing its advanced policing expertise on a global stage.

As part of the summit’s key outcomes, Dubai Police and the Italian Carabinieri signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand cooperation in security operations, training, and intelligence sharing. The agreement sets a framework for joint initiatives in crime prevention, capacity building, and cross-border response coordination.

The dignitaries praised Dubai’s role in fostering global dialogue among law enforcement leaders and commended the summit’s focus on innovation and collective action.
