Dubai Police has been named the most reputable and strongest police force in the world, according to a comprehensive study by Brand Finance.
The force earned a AAA+ rating and scored 9.2 out of 10 in the Institutional Brand Value Index, topping the list after evaluations across 10 countries and feedback from more than 8,000 stakeholders.
The study assessed global police forces across 11 key reputation pillars, including professionalism, integrity, fairness, and innovation. Dubai Police surpassed international counterparts in all categories, reflecting strong public trust and effective performance. Notable scores included 67% for safety assurance, 64% for effective duty performance, and 60% for integrity.
The recognition also reinforces Dubai Police’s contribution to enhancing the UAE’s soft power. With an estimated brand value of AED57.9 billion ($15.8 billion), the force plays a significant role in the UAE’s national brand, which totals AED4.48 trillion ($1.2 trillion).
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, credited the achievement to the visionary leadership of the UAE. He highlighted the force’s shift from traditional policing to a modern, tech-driven model incorporating artificial intelligence and smart services.
Strategic initiatives such as Smart Police Stations, the UAE SWAT Challenge, and the Esaad programme were cited as key contributors to the force’s growing global reputation.
David Haigh, CEO of Brand Finance, emphasized the importance of perception in shaping global influence, noting that Dubai Police’s high brand strength score reflects its consistent efforts in community engagement, innovation, and public service.
This recognition marks a major milestone in Dubai Police’s transformation into a globally respected force, not only in law enforcement but also as a symbol of security and progress.
