Dubai Public Prosecution has achieved a global achievement, in addition to its record of successive achievements, by winning the Platinum award of British Ideas Organization for the sixth year in a row, achieving a 99% conformity to accredited innovation standards in the British Ideas Organization for the year 2022.

Obtaining the Platinum Award for British Ideas Organization is an achievement that reflects Public Prosecution’s adoption of innovation concepts and tools, its great capabilities to convert its innovative ideas into reality based on international standards, as the Public Prosecution is the first prosecution in the world to apply the accredited International standard in the British Ideas Organization.
The Assistant Public Prosecutor stated also that Dubai Public Prosecution pays great attention to innovation system, as it contributes to overcoming challenges and solving obstacles at work, developing judicial work process and sustaining results.
One of the most innovative initiatives of Public Prosecution is Smart File for Penalty Case by following stages of Penalty Case In a 100% electronic way, which contributed to accelerating work procedures and reducing time period for litigation, as well as remote investigation and litigation project, in which Public Prosecution adopted use of remote communication technology in the procedures of Public Prosecution, General Command of Dubai Police and Dubai Courts, related to investigations and conducting trials without presence of the parties at these departments, the project contributed to business continuity by 100% without the need for any of the parties to the case to attend Public Prosecution building, providing the service (24/7) without interruption, electronic self-archiving, classifying cases and files in a model manner, in addition to reducing costs for government Dubai.
Also Smart Kafala (Bail) initiative that came to support human rights and protect freedoms in society by replacing the passport reservation process Escape or seize official documents related to the litigants or arrest suspects in prison with the system of preventing them from leaving the country through all the country’s ports using smart electronic systems in order to achieve compliance of persons before the judicial authorities while enjoying their full rights and freedoms
Al-Mutawa stressed that Public Prosecution always seeks to establish a culture of creativity, innovation and develop the institutional work system by encouraging and motivating employees and customers to initiate, develop and present new ideas, enhance a culture of openness and positivity, follow up on implementation of innovative ideas and projects, adopt application of many of them, as the Public Prosecution seeks to build an effective network of partnerships to support the creativity and innovation process, as it recently concluded several cooperation and partnership agreements with universities and scientific research institutions to support innovation by offering innovative developmental training programs for employees, giving them the opportunity to explore new ideas that contribute to raising the efficiency and effectiveness of institutional performance and achieving the vision of the Public Prosecution. Shamsa Al-Marri, Director of the Department of Strategy and Institutional Excellence, said that innovation systemin the Public Prosecution is the main driver of all innovative and improvement projects, through which all ideas are collected and studied and converted into developmental and innovative projects to ensure continuous improvement of work procedures in the department, and feasible ideas are transferred To strategic and operational projects, the level of their implementation and development is monitored periodically, and an innovation portfolio has been developed at the level of the Public Prosecution to support the process of managing all innovative projects.
Al-Marri added that innovation system in the Public Prosecution was built in accordance with requirements of government innovation framework guide prepared by Executive Council, which includes the basic elements for developing government innovation environment, in addition to the standards of the International Standard for the Management of the Innovation System 56002: 2019 and the standards of British Ideas Organization.
Al Marri confirmed that His Excellency the Attorney General in the Emirate of Dubai pays special attention to motivating and honoring innovators through an approved honoring system through which all categories concerned with the work of the Public Prosecution are honored, which includes customers, employees and partners.
In addition to the keenness of the senior leadership team to actively participate in the periodic brainstorming workshops and sessions, and to attend the activities and programs related to innovation, which is an expression of the commitment of the senior leadership team to sponsor innovation in the Public Prosecution and follow up on the management of the innovation system on an ongoing basis.
It is worth noting that Public Prosecution participated in the UAE Innovation Week for the years 2018, 2019,2020, 2021 and 2022 AD, by organizing internal and external innovative exhibitions for employees and all categories concerned with their work.
