Dubai Press Club has named American Hospital Dubai, part of Mohamed and Obaid Almulla Group, as the Strategic Healthcare Partner of the Arab Media Summit 2026, reinforcing the growing convergence between media and healthcare in advancing sustainable development and community wellbeing.
The region’s largest media gathering will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and under the directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, from 31 March to 2 April 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The partnership brings together two sectors that play a central role in shaping societies. Media drives awareness, dialogue, and accountability, while healthcare protects quality of life and strengthens social resilience.
Organised by the Dubai Press Club, the Arab Media Summit features a broad programme of platforms, including the Arab Media Forum, Arab Youth Media Forum, Film Forum, eGaming Forum, Government Communication Forum, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit. The event will also host the Arab Media Award, Ibda'a – Arab Youth Media Award, and Arab Social Media Influencers Award ceremonies.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, said the partnership reflects Dubai’s model of cross-sector collaboration in delivering major global events and advancing responsible media coverage of health and community issues.
Sherif Beshara, Group CEO of Mohamed and Obaid Almulla Group and American Hospital Dubai, said the collaboration underscores the hospital’s commitment to supporting the media sector while continuing to deliver high-quality, innovative healthcare services.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, noted that the partnership builds on a long-standing relationship based on shared vision and trust, and will also enable joint initiatives in health awareness and responsible media.
The Arab Media Summit annually brings together more than 8,000 media leaders, thinkers, and decision-makers from across the region and beyond.
