The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has launched the Dubai Content Creators Programme, an initiative designed to equip emerging talent with advanced skills to create impactful digital content.

The programme’s first phase, the Economic Content Creators Programme, began on 16 December 2024 and runs until 8 January 2025, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy.

The three-week programme aims to enhance economic literacy and equip content creators with the latest trends in economic reporting. Led by prominent experts and renowned financial media organisations, it provides training to simplify complex economic topics for wider audiences.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, inaugurated the programme, stressing the importance of specialised content in today’s fast-evolving digital world. He highlighted the UAE’s commitment to fostering a dynamic media sector and supporting content creators with reliable economic data.

“The Ministry recognises media organisations as essential partners in showcasing the UAE’s economic strengths and providing accurate insights into the national economy,”

Al Marri said. He emphasised the role of credible, objective content in driving financial literacy and economic resilience.

Mona Al Marri, President of Dubai Press Club, praised the Ministry’s support and underscored the value of economic content in addressing pressing global issues like inflation and technological shifts.

“Content creation focused on economic topics fosters a deeper understanding of key issues impacting daily life,” she said.

Maryam Al Mulla, Acting Director of DPC, noted the programme’s alignment with Dubai’s ambition to rank among the world’s top three urban economies by 2033. The agenda includes lectures and workshops on AI’s role in content creation, economic fundamentals, and balancing trending topics with objective analysis.

The Dubai Content Creators Programme underscores DPC’s dedication to developing future media talent, aligning with Dubai’s strategic vision for growth and innovation.
