Dubai Press Club announced a series of specialized workshops as part of the fifth edition of Dubai Podfest, set to take place on 30 September 2025 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
The event, coinciding with International Podcast Day, will gather leading regional and international media organisations and platforms, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a hub for digital media in the Arab world.
Mahfoudha Saleh, Manager of Dubai Podfest, said the workshops aim to support the growth of the audio content industry by providing creators with practical skills and insights from distinguished Arabic and international experts. She noted the sessions reflect DPC’s mission to nurture media talent and advance podcasting across the region.
The workshops will feature major platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Podeo, Dolby Atmos, the Arabian Radio Network, and The Voice Center, among others. Participants will engage in three tracks: Creative Skills and Storytelling, focusing on shaping unique podcast identities and mastering presentation techniques; Business and Strategy, covering audience growth, brand building, and the balance of audio and video content; and Technology and Production, highlighting innovations such as AI-driven tools for editing and sound design, immersive audio techniques, and live streaming strategies.
By combining industry expertise with hands-on training, the sessions aim to prepare creators for the expanding global podcast market and strengthen Dubai’s position at the forefront of digital content development.
