Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Dubai ranked among the world's top five safest cities, according to data from Numbeo.
Abu Dhabi claimed the top spot as the safest city globally, followed by Ajman at second place and Dubai at fifth place. This reaffirms the UAE's reputation as a secure and stable destination to live and work. Doha and Taipei secured the third and fourth positions, while Muscat ranked eighth.
A recent survey also revealed that over 93% of Abu Dhabi residents feel safe walking alone at night.
The high rankings are attributed to the importance placed on security and safety by UAE leaders and the implementation of various initiatives and projects to prevent crime, improve traffic safety, and provide efficient emergency response. Additionally, the country's strong safety record attracts significant foreign investments.
