Dubai’s real estate sector reached unprecedented heights in 2024, recording 2.78 million procedures, the highest in its history. This marks a 17% increase compared to 2023, driven by exceptional growth in transactions and rental agreements.

Real estate transactions alone accounted for 226,000, with a combined value of AED761 billion, reflecting a 36% rise in volume and a 20% increase in value year-on-year. The sector also attracted 110,000 new investors, a remarkable 55% growth, underscoring Dubai’s appeal as a global investment hub.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, attributed this success to the emirate’s robust economy, visionary leadership, and investor-friendly policies under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

“The exceptional results reflect the resilience of our economy and our focus on making Dubai the world’s best place to live and work,”

he stated.

The Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, emphasizing transparency, sustainability, and advanced technologies, played a pivotal role in this growth. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director-General of Dubai Land Department, highlighted the strategy’s impact on doubling the sector’s GDP contribution and attracting high-quality investments.

The sector’s integration of artificial intelligence and proptech has further enhanced investor confidence and operational efficiency.

“These achievements are a testament to Dubai’s commitment to innovation and excellence,”

Bin Ghalita added.

As Dubai continues to align its initiatives with the D33 Agenda, the emirate is solidifying its position as a leading global destination for real estate investment, sustainability, and economic excellence.
