Dubai Rebrands Gov Games to DUBAI GAMES Ahead of 2025 Edition
Under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the renowned Gov Games has been rebranded as DUBAI GAMES, reflecting its transformation into a globally recognized sporting platform.
Scheduled for February 2025, the sixth edition promises to be the largest-ever, drawing participants from around the globe. The event will feature five categories: Battle of the Government – Men, Battle of the Government – Women, Battle of the Community, Battle of the Cities, and Battle of the Juniors.
The tournament kicks off with the Battle of the Juniors on 8 February 2025 at Damac Hills, while the main events begin on 20 February 2025 at Dubai Festival City.
Marwan bin Essa, Director of DUBAI GAMES, stated,

DUBAI GAMES 2025 will showcase intense mental and physical challenges, including obstacle courses designed to test endurance, strength, and teamwork. The rebranding also celebrates Dubai’s cutting-edge infrastructure and its growing reputation for hosting prestigious international sporting events.
With the support of strategic partners and sponsors, DUBAI GAMES 2025 is set to become an extraordinary celebration of competition and unity, solidifying Dubai’s stature on the global sporting map.
