In a significant humanitarian move, the Dubai Rental Disputes Center (RDC), in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Est., has facilitated the release of 86 inmates detained over rental disputes.

The initiative, amounting to AED 6.8 million in settled financial claims, underscores the UAE’s commitment to social solidarity and support for those in financial distress.

Judge AbdulQader Mousa Mohammed, Chairman of RDC, lauded the initiative as a testament to the nation’s values of tolerance and generosity. He emphasized the importance of balancing judicial standards with humanitarian considerations to uphold social justice.

"This initiative sets a model for cooperation across all sectors of society and reaffirms our commitment to rehabilitating and reintegrating released individuals,"

he stated.

Saleh Zahir Al Mazrouei, Director General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Est., highlighted the initiative’s alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He noted that the effort not only alleviates financial burdens but also restores family unity, offering individuals a fresh start.

"Bringing relief to families ahead of Eid Al-Fitr sends a powerful message of solidarity,"

he added.

This initiative strengthens Dubai’s reputation for compassionate governance and reinforces the UAE’s dedication to fostering community stability. With continued efforts from RDC and its partners, the emirate remains committed to fair dispute resolution and the well-being of its residents.
