Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, the Dubai Resilience Centre signed three memoranda of understanding at Emirates Towers aimed at boosting the emirate’s resilience and emergency response systems.

The agreements were signed with the National Center of Meteorology, Dubai Land Department, and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University. Together, they seek to enhance Dubai’s readiness to manage crises, improve institutional coordination, and strengthen decision-making through data sharing, research, and specialised training.

Sheikh Mansoor said the partnerships reflect Dubai’s commitment to building a globally recognised model for resilience, guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He noted that true resilience is not limited to crisis response but extends to anticipating future challenges and continuously evolving systems to protect national progress.

The partnership with Dubai Land Department focuses on developing resilience standards for the real estate sector and advancing sustainable urban planning through digital system integration and data exchange. The agreement with the National Center of Meteorology covers collaboration in early warning systems and climate risk analysis, while the MoU with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University includes launching a Resilience Diploma and specialised programmes in crisis management, artificial intelligence, and climate change.

The Dubai Resilience Centre said it will continue expanding its partnerships across government, academia, and the private sector to reinforce Dubai’s position as a global leader in building sustainable and future-ready systems.
