Dubai Run 2024: RTA Announces Extended Metro Timings

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced an extension to the operating hours of the Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines on Sunday, November 24, 2024, to support the participants of the Dubai Run.

The metro lines will run from 3:00 AM to 12:00 AM, ensuring that individuals taking part in the city's popular fitness event can travel conveniently.

The extended hours aim to accommodate the large number of participants in the Dubai Run, the grand finale of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2024. This annual event, sponsored by Mai Dubai, will bring together families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience. Participants can choose from two scenic routes: a 5km run suitable for beginners and families, and a more challenging 10km route for experienced runners.

To ensure a smooth journey, RTA has reminded passengers to check their Nol card balances before traveling. A minimum balance of Dh15 is required for Nol Silver Cards, while Nol Gold Card holders must have a minimum balance of Dh30 to cover round-trip fares.
