Dubai has completed the first phase of expansion at Dubai Schools – Nad Al Sheba under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council.

The project is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the emirate’s education sector and advance the Dubai Social Agenda 33.

The AED530 million expansion is being carried out in two phases. Phase one, finished ahead of the 2025-26 academic year, has added 31 classrooms with capacity for 777 students. Phase two, set for completion by July 2026, will deliver 114 classrooms, 31 laboratories, and specialised halls, increasing total capacity to 2,664 students.

The new facilities also feature a semi-Olympic swimming pool, international-standard football pitch, indoor sports hall, gym, and outdoor courts. These additions aim to provide a holistic learning environment that combines academic excellence with athletic development.

Officials described the project as a key step toward creating a future-ready education model that nurtures talent and supports Dubai’s long-term growth. The initiative aligns with the Education 33 Strategy, which seeks to position Dubai among the world’s top 10 cities for education quality.
