Dubai has kicked off the 31st edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival with an action packed opening that sets the stage for a 38 day showcase of retail, entertainment, and citywide experiences expected to draw millions of visitors.

Running until 11 January 2026, the festival transforms the emirate into a hub of shopping offers, raffles, live shows, and cultural attractions. Organisers say this year’s edition reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovation and visitor experience, supported by a strong lineup of international performances and immersive events.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, noted that the festival continues to fuel both economic and cultural growth. He said the new season reinforces Dubai’s ambition to remain one of the world’s leading cities to visit, live, and work in.

The opening weekend features major concerts, family friendly entertainment, and advanced visual displays. Bollywood star Nora Fatehi will headline e& DSF Nights on 6 December at Dubai Festival City Mall, followed by fireworks over Festival Bay. The nightly series will also offer interactive zones, waterfront attractions, and free installations.

Beyond the city centre, DSF will bring back its mountain experience at Hatta Wadi Hub, offering candlelight concerts, Dinner in the Sky, and outdoor cinema screenings. Visitors can enjoy music from Vivaldi to Coldplay, while families can access a dedicated children’s concert on 13 December.

Innovation takes centre stage with an all new Drone and Pyro Show featuring more than 1,000 drones set to music by composer Hans Zimmer. The dual nightly shows promise to illuminate the skyline with synchronised displays of light and sound.

Tickets for e& DSF Nights are now on sale, and shoppers can enter the DSF Mega Raffle for daily prizes including a new Nissan and AED100,000, leading to a AED400,000 grand draw on the final day.
