Dubai took center stage at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, presenting its ambitious plans to become a global hub for gaming and digital innovation.
The Dubai Pavilion attracted thousands of visitors, international delegations, and leading companies eager to explore opportunities in the rapidly growing sector.

Visitors were introduced to the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, a strategic initiative aiming to place Dubai among the world’s top 10 gaming hubs by 2033. Launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the program targets 30,000 new industry jobs and nearly USD 1 billion in contribution to the emirate’s digital economy.

Faisal Kazim, Director of DPG33, added that global interest reflects Dubai’s growing role as an international center for game development and creative industries.
