Dubai reinforced its global reputation as a digital innovation leader at the opening of GITEX EUROPE x Ai Everything 2025 in Berlin, with a high-profile delegation led by Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Alia bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei and Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner.
The event featured the official inauguration of the Dubai Pavilion, where 12 government and private entities are presenting cutting-edge digital services and AI-driven solutions. The pavilion reflects Dubai’s unified approach to accelerating digital transformation and building a future-ready city.
Key innovations include autonomous drone systems by Dubai Police, AI-powered customs inspection tools by Dubai Customs, and the Salama smart residency platform by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. Visitors can also explore platforms like DubaiNow, UAE Pass, and the Dubai Dashboard, which streamline access to public services.
The Dubai Future Foundation, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, and DIFC Courts are highlighting advanced initiatives in AI, space analytics, and legal tech, underscoring Dubai’s diverse innovation landscape. Meanwhile, the Dubai Electronic Security Center is presenting the Dubai Cyber Security Index and next-gen protection systems.
Dubai’s participation also aligns with its Economic Agenda D33, aimed at solidifying its status among the world’s top three economic cities. Officials emphasized the importance of collaboration, with public and private sectors working in sync to enhance quality of life, attract global investment, and ensure secure digital governance.
As noted by Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, the city’s presence in Berlin represents more than technology—it’s a model of government synergy, built on a vision of a smart, sustainable, and inclusive future.
