Dubai SME, part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, has signed a strategic partnership with Emarat to expand support for Emirati-owned small and medium enterprises and accelerate the growth of Dubai’s entrepreneurial economy.

The collaboration will grant Dubai SME members access to discounted registration fees, lower product charges, preferential advertising rates, and reduced costs for payment processing, logistics, and retail space across Emarat’s network. A jointly developed revenue-sharing model will also help ensure long-term sustainability for participating businesses.

The initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, which seeks to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033, and supports the UAE Year of Community 2025 by fostering entrepreneurship and unlocking national talent.

Ahmad Al Room Almheiri, Acting CEO of Dubai SME, said the partnership highlights the role of public-private collaboration in strengthening Dubai’s business ecosystem and empowering Emirati entrepreneurs to scale in competitive markets.

Ali Zayed Al Falasi, Acting Chief Retail Officer of Emarat, added that the agreement reflects Emarat’s commitment to supporting locally owned businesses by lowering costs and expanding access to customers through premium retail spaces and co-marketing opportunities.

Dubai SME aims to help launch 8,000 new Emirati businesses by 2033, raising the total number of supported enterprises to 27,000, up from 19,000 in 2024.
