Dubai South, the largest single-urban master development focused on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has officially launched the construction of a new facility at its Logistics District in collaboration with INDU Kishore Logistics.
This groundbreaking marks a pivotal moment in INDU's expansion strategy, reinforcing its goal of becoming a leader in multi-industry logistics.
The ceremony, attended by AbdulBasit AlMarzouqi, Deputy CEO of Dubai South's Logistics District, and Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of INDU Group, featured senior executives from both organizations. The new facility, covering approximately 23,000 square meters with a storage capacity for 75,000 pallets, is slated for completion by the third quarter of 2025. It will utilize data-driven automation to enhance operational efficiency, allowing for rapid processing of spare parts of various sizes and ensuring a streamlined flow of shipments.
Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District, expressed optimism about the project, stating,
“We are pleased to witness this groundbreaking, which will add significant value to the logistics sector. At Dubai South, we support the government’s vision of establishing Dubai as a global logistics hub and are committed to assisting INDU Kishore Logistics in its growth initiatives.”
Kush Lakhani, Managing Partner at INDU Kishore Logistics, emphasized the strategic importance of this investment, driven by increasing demand in the automotive and aerospace industries. He noted,
“With the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport, the timing is ideal for this venture.”
