Dubai South Inaugurates New Satys Facility at Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub

Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), a key player in Dubai's aviation industry, has officially opened a state-of-the-art facility for Satys, a leading French group specializing in aircraft painting, sealing, and manufacturing interiors.

The inauguration ceremony, held at Dubai South, was attended by senior officials, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Christophe Cador, CEO of Satys Group.

The newly unveiled hangar will provide high-end finishing and painting services for business jets and commercial aircraft, including the Airbus A321 and Boeing 737. Set to be operational by Q2 2025, the facility underscores Dubai South’s commitment to advancing aviation services in the region.

Tahnoon Saif emphasized that Satys’ presence in Dubai will further enhance the aerospace offerings at MBRAH, aligning with the city’s vision to be a global aviation leader. He stated,

“Our goal is to attract top-tier global companies, contributing to the integrated ecosystem at Dubai South.”

Christophe Cador echoed this sentiment, highlighting the strategic importance of Dubai’s location for Satys’ expansion in the Middle East and Asia. He expressed excitement over the new facility, which will accelerate service delivery for both VIP and commercial aircraft.

Founded in 1986, Satys operates across 12 countries and serves both the aerospace and rail sectors. The company is known for its excellence in aircraft painting and interior manufacturing, boasting a workforce of over 2,500 employees worldwide.

This facility is set to strengthen Dubai’s position as a major hub for global aviation companies, offering connectivity, innovation, and world-class services.
