Dubai Sports Council has opened a nationwide design challenge inviting creatives across the UAE to craft a new visual identity that reflects Dubai’s ambition as a leading global sports hub.

The initiative was launched today by H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of DSC.

Sheikh Mansoor said the new identity should capture Dubai’s sporting ethos, passion, and future vision, while enhancing the city’s global profile in hosting world-class athletes and events. He encouraged designers to present ideas that express the emirate’s dynamic spirit and aspirations.

Entries will be accepted from September 15 to 30 through the council’s official website, with one submission allowed per individual or team. Participants may use AI-powered tools in their designs, provided disclosure is made during submission.

The winning entry will receive a cash prize of AED100,000 and will become the official identity of the Dubai Sports Council. It will be applied across digital and print platforms, venues, and events, ensuring adaptability across multiple formats and scales.

Submissions will be evaluated based on four key criteria: alignment with Dubai’s sporting vision, creativity and originality, aesthetic appeal and versatility, and scalability for different applications.

The winner will be honored at an official ceremony, with the new identity rolled out as a symbol of Dubai’s next phase in sports development.
