One Za'abeel, the iconic cantilevered building along Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, has officially joined the Dubai World Trade Free Zone. This inclusion allows companies and organizations within One Za'abeel to access various benefits specified in Decree No. 18 of 2024, such as:
- 100% foreign ownership
- Exemption from customs duties
- Dual-licensing opportunities
- 0% Corporate Tax
- Simplified visa and permit procedures
- Flexible office solutions
Abdalla Al Banna, vice-president of Free Zone Regulatory Operations of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, highlighted that this expansion reinforces Dubai’s position as a commercial hub and supports businesses and SMEs in achieving Dubai's Economic Agenda D33 goals.
One Za’abeel's The Offices, offering 26,000 sqm of Grade-A office space, holds LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum certifications for technology, connectivity, and sustainability. The development also provides access to retail, dining, and hospitality options.
Issam Galadari, director of One Za’abeel Holdings, emphasized that joining the Free Zone offers significant benefits to tenants, promoting growth within the business community. One Za’abeel’s retail Podium is expected to open later this year, featuring a mix of international and local brands.
