Dubai Summer Surprises 2023 to begin on 29th June
The Emirate of Dubai is bringing back 67 days of summer fun with its city-wide Dubai Summer Surprises programme. Residents and visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, live performances from June 29 to September 3, 2023 through various promotional offers.
The opening weekend coincides with the extended week-end of Eid Al Adha celebrations. Raffle draws, retail promotions, gastronomy deals and a line-up of family-friendly activities across Dubai’s several malls and shopping centres will be on offer.
Modhesh World; where Modesh and Dana - the sunny-smiled characters of Dubai- which is part of the Dubai Summer Surprises offerings, will give families with kids of all ages an unforgettable experience with the numerous activities, attractions, games, workshops, and shows across its diverse themed zones.
The Dubai Summer Surprises offers participants the chance to win exciting prizes through a raffle. These prizes include a brand new Mercedes-Benz A200, a Nissan X-Trail, and jewellery vouchers worth up to Dh100,000. Entries for the raffle can be submitted at numerous participating malls, petrol stations, and car service centers.
For those interested in live performances, the Coca-Cola Arena is hosting renowned Arab musicians Hussain Al Jassmi and Kadim Al Sahir on July 1, along with Saudi Arabian singer Mohammed Abdu on July 2. Additionally, the popular music platform Anghami is bringing back its series of weekly concerts and gigs. These events feature a mix of well-known and emerging regional artists such as WEGZ, Cairokee, Afroto, Marwan Pablo, Balti, Disco Misr, Autostrad, Massar Egbari, and Sharmoofers. The live gigs will take place at The Agenda in Dubai Media City.
The summer festival presents various options for children to enjoy for free. Kids can enter The Top in Burj Khalifa, Madam Tussauds Museum, and Sky Views Observatory without any charge. Dubai Tourism's website provides complete details of all the offers available. Additionally, several hotels and attractions participating in the festival are also introducing a "kids go free" promotion during the event.
The Department of Economy and Tourism states that the city-wide initiative is enticing residents to visit malls by offering the best deals in town and a variety of thrilling entertainment options. A comprehensive schedule of events will be unveiled on June 20.
