Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has signed a five-year strategic agreement with Dubai Airports, reinforcing its role as the exclusive provider of taxi services at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC). This partnership cements DTC’s leadership in the mobility sector, ensuring seamless transportation for millions of travelers passing through Dubai’s airports.
Enhancing Airport Mobility
The collaboration comes as Dubai Airports saw a record-breaking 93 million passengers in 2024, leading to six million taxi and limousine trips. This figure is expected to exceed eight million annually by 2029, with the partnership projected to generate AED 2.5 billion in revenue over the next five years.
DTC has been serving Dubai Airports since 1997 when it operated with just 100 taxis. Today, the company manages a modern fleet of 900 airport taxis, including 700 dedicated airport taxis, pink taxis for women and families, and accessible vehicles for People of Determination. Additionally, 500 premium limousines cater to passengers seeking an elevated travel experience.
The agreement was signed by Mansoor Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, in the presence of senior officials.
Smart Transportation & Efficiency
In line with Dubai’s vision for smart mobility, DTC has integrated cutting-edge dispatch systems, instant booking technology, and cashless payment options into its fleet. These enhancements improve service efficiency, reduce wait times, and offer real-time fleet monitoring to ensure passenger safety and convenience.
In 2024 alone, DTC doubled its airport taxi fleet, leading to a 30% increase in trips while maintaining high service standards. This initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global business and tourism hub.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, highlighted that efficient ground transport is essential to a seamless airport experience, and the partnership with DTC ensures world-class mobility solutions that reflect Dubai’s commitment to service excellence.
