With participation from 20 countries, the event will feature 130 scientific lectures, 39 research presentations, 13 dedicated research lectures for doctors and residents, and 8 workshops tailored to the medical industry.

This year’s edition marks a key milestone with the first regional collaboration with AO Recon, a global orthopaedic network, further reinforcing the congress’s commitment to advancing clinical education and best practices.

Dr. Mohamed Muath Adi, President of the Congress, highlighted a focus on emerging technologies such as 3D-printed custom joints and robotic-assisted surgeries, along with seminars addressing complex surgical cases.

Vice President Dr. Jaber Al Khayeli noted the importance of designing implants suited to regional needs, stressing anatomical and cultural considerations such as the ability to sit on the floor and perform daily prayers.

The event also includes live-streamed surgeries, expert panels, and a dedicated “Ask the Experts” session. More than 20 leading companies in pharmaceuticals and medical devices are participating, underlining the congress’s role in driving innovation and elevating orthopaedic care in the region and beyond.
