Dubai to Host ‘Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025’ in February

The highly anticipated second edition of the Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition is set to take place from February 10 to 12, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Organized by MAICO Enterprises Inc., a prominent Japanese trade organization, the event aims to deepen economic, cultural, and innovation-focused ties between the UAE and Japan.

With an expected attendance of over 30,000 visitors, this premier B2B exhibition is poised to become the largest Japanese business matching event in the Middle East. The three-day event will feature 100 exhibitors showcasing Japan’s industrial advancements, cultural heritage, and cutting-edge innovations.

Mai Sakaue, CEO of MAICO Enterprises and Chairperson of the Executive Committee, emphasized the broader scope of this edition compared to its predecessor, held in January 2024.

“The success of the first exhibition, which focused on Kyoto Prefecture, has inspired us to include a wider range of exhibitors from across Japan. This event will not only strengthen business connections but also celebrate Japan’s industrial and cultural diversity,”

she said.

The exhibition offers participants a unique platform to network with key industry players, buyers, and decision-makers while fostering cross-cultural exchanges between Japan and the UAE.

Rina Fujihashi, Organising Committee Member, highlighted the event's growth:

“The 2024 edition featured 95 exhibitors and drew 12,000 visitors. In 2025, we aim to host 100 exhibitors and attract up to 30,000 attendees, including business leaders and general visitors eager to explore Japan’s heritage and innovations.”

The Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025 promises to be a cornerstone event for enhancing bilateral trade and showcasing Japan’s diverse industries to the Middle East.
