As part of the inaugural Dubai AI Week, the highly anticipated third edition of the Machines Can See AI Summit will take place from April 23-24, 2025, at the Museum of the Future.
Organised by Polynome Events under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the summit will gather global AI experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss AI’s role in shaping a safer world.
Under the theme ‘Good AI: Making the World a Safer Place’, the event will feature 20 keynote speeches and panel discussions, exploring AI’s impact across sectors such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, industry, art, and fashion. The summit’s expo zone will include three key sections: a showcase of cutting-edge AI and robotics, a dedicated startup hub, and a space featuring UAE-based universities.
Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the AI, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, highlighted the UAE’s ambition to become a global AI leader, stating,
“Guided by its leadership, the UAE is harnessing AI to drive a prosperous and sustainable future.”
International perspectives will also take center stage, with Zhaslan Madiyev, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, participating in a panel on AI’s role in talent retention and global competitiveness.
Renowned AI experts, including Gerard Medioni (Amazon Prime Video & Studios), Dawn Song (UC Berkeley), Michael Bronstein (University of Oxford), and Marc Pollefeys (ETH Zurich), will provide insights on AI’s evolving landscape. Additionally, a special discussion led by Mauro Martino (IBM Research) will explore AI’s growing influence on artistic creativity and visual storytelling.
Held as part of Dubai AI Week, the Machines Can See 2025 summit underscores Dubai’s commitment to pioneering AI advancements and fostering a global dialogue on responsible AI innovation.
