Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), in partnership with NVIDIA GeForce Middle East, will host the inaugural NVIDIA RTX AI GameCraft event on 23rd January, further solidifying the emirate’s status as a global leader in gaming and artificial intelligence (AI).
The event, part of the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033 (DPG33), will bring together developers, students, and industry professionals from around the world at Emirates Towers Boulevard.
Under the theme “Dubai: Between the Past and the Future,” participants will create cutting-edge games that reflect the city’s rich heritage and its forward-looking vision. A panel of expert judges will select 15 finalists, with the top three winning teams receiving accolades for their innovation and creativity.
Faisal Kazim, Head of DPG33, highlighted the event’s role in fostering AI-driven creativity in the gaming industry.
“We aim to provide developers and creatives with advanced opportunities to produce unique digital experiences in Dubai, contributing to our mission of positioning the city as a global gaming hub,”
he said.
Launched in November 2023 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the DPG33 initiative seeks to place Dubai among the top 10 cities in the global $200 billion gaming industry and generate 30,000 new jobs by 2033.
Chantelle Tavid, Marketing Director at NVIDIA MENAT/CIS, expressed excitement over the collaboration, emphasizing the transformative potential of AI in gaming.
