Dubai is set to host the prestigious UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 from February 1 to 5 at Al Ruwayyah Training City.
Organized by Dubai Police, the event will bring together 93 elite SWAT teams from across the globe, competing in five rigorous tactical challenges designed to test their strength, skill, and teamwork.
Since its inception, the UAE SWAT Challenge has grown internationally, becoming the largest global event for special units and tactical teams. His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, highlighted the competition's increasing participation from teams across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. This growth is attributed to the ongoing support from Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Brigadier Obaid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, emphasized the event's focus on fostering competitiveness, collaboration, and the exchange of expertise among participants. The competition will feature challenges such as the Tactical Operations Challenge, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue Competition, High Tower Challenge, and Obstacle Course, all requiring exceptional teamwork and strategic planning.
Lt. Gen. Al Marri affirmed Dubai Police's commitment to ensuring the event’s success, showcasing Dubai as a premier destination for global events. This year’s edition will continue to serve as a platform for teams to learn from each other, evaluate their preparedness, and engage in cutting-edge tactical practices.
With growing international interest, the UAE SWAT Challenge promises to be a key event in the global tactical policing calendar.
