H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has ordered the organisation of the World Sports Summit in Dubai from December 29 to 30.
The summit aims to gather top sports officials, athletes, and experts from around the world to shape the future of the global sports industry.
The event, hosted by the Dubai Sports Council at Madinat Jumeirah, will feature panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops. It will address key issues such as enhancing team and individual sports performance, supporting national teams and clubs, and the role of educational institutions in talent development.
Discussions will also focus on boosting audience engagement, improving the economic viability of sporting events, and exploring the impact of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and data analytics on sports.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the summit’s goal to leverage new opportunities while overcoming challenges to strengthen sport’s role in inspiring people, supporting economies, and fostering community connections.
Dubai continues to cement its reputation as a global sports hub, supported by its world-class infrastructure and ability to attract major events, teams, and sporting talents year-round.
