Dubai has announced its official calendar of events for Ramadan 2026, unveiling a citywide programme of cultural, community, and destination-led experiences set to run for approximately 30 days, reinforcing the emirate’s commitment to celebrating the Holy Month through inclusive and accessible activations.
Ramadan holds a central place in the UAE’s social and spiritual life, defined by reflection, generosity, and compassion. In Dubai, the Holy Month is marked by shared rituals and everyday moments that bring families and communities together, shaping the rhythm of life from sunset onwards.
This year’s programme forms part of the Season of Wulfa, a broader cultural journey that begins with Hag Al Leila and culminates with Eid in Dubai. The season reflects how traditions are lived, shared, and passed down across generations, grounding major occasions in heritage while remaining open to all residents and visitors.
A coordinated calendar of government-led, destination-based, and community activations will take place across the city, offering meaningful ways to engage with the values and spirit of Ramadan through food, culture, and shared public experiences.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said Ramadan in Dubai is shaped by how the city comes together each evening across neighbourhoods, destinations, and public spaces. He noted that this year’s programme focuses on creating simple, welcoming moments that fit naturally into daily life and allow people to engage with the Holy Month in ways that feel respectful and meaningful.
Signature experiences will interpret Ramadan traditions across public spaces, cultural venues, hospitality environments, and contemporary destinations. These include the Ramadan Street Food Festival at Sheikh Hamdan Colony from February 16 to March 15, transforming the area into an evening food and community destination, and Ramadan by the Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall, featuring large-scale visual experiences, cultural entertainment, dining, and waterfront seating.
A coordinated Ramadan Drone Show and nightly fireworks at Al Seef and Dubai Creek will create shared public spectacles throughout the month, while Ramadan Reflections (Atyaf Ramadaniyah) will present visual and cultural installations across 10 locations, offering artistic expressions inspired by the spiritual essence of the Holy Month.
Neighbourhood-focused activations will take place at City Walk, The Beach JBR, and City Centre Mirdif, creating relaxed post-Iftar environments centred on gathering, dining, and light cultural interaction. Family-friendly programming will also unfold at Expo City Dubai through Hai Ramadan, and at Global Village with Ramadan Wonders, blending cultural entertainment, dining, and retail.
Hospitality and destination highlights include ROOFLINE by DIFC, Jumeirah Emirates Towers Ramadan Majlis, the Asateer Ramadan Tent at Atlantis, The Palm, Majlis Under the Stars at Jumeirah Al Naseem, and Ramadan District Season 4 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, all offering curated Iftar and Suhoor experiences alongside cultural programming.
Retail and visual activations will also run across the city, including the Season of Wulfa Shop, Scan & Win promotion at participating Carrefour and Lulu stores, and A Symphony of Light, a series of illuminated installations at Al Seef and Dubai Festival City Mall.
Partner activations led by government entities will include Souq Ramadan by Dubai Municipality and Ramadan-themed cultural and community programmes organised by the Community Development Authority, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Museum of the Future, and the Roads and Transport Authority, featuring educational activities, family experiences, and initiatives supporting giving and volunteering.
Together, the calendar reflects Dubai’s holistic approach to Ramadan, blending heritage, culture, and contemporary experiences to create a month-long celebration rooted in togetherness, reflection, and community.
