Dubai has announced a comprehensive security and organizational plan for the 2025 New Year’s Eve celebrations to ensure public safety and smooth operations. The plan involves dividing the city into four operational sectors—North, Central, West, and Maritime—and deploying over 8,500 police officers, 1,145 patrols, marine rescue boats, and Civil Defence vehicles. Special tents in Downtown Dubai will provide services like lost-and-found, first aid, and logistical support.
The celebrations will feature fireworks at 36 locations, including Burj Khalifa, Global Village, and Expo City. Public transport will be enhanced, with the Dubai Metro running for 43 hours and 260 buses facilitating movement. Traffic management includes road closures in key areas, and additional parking will be available with shuttle services.
Dubai Municipality will deploy 2,776 workers to ensure cleanliness, food safety, and park management. Dubai Ambulance will station 224 emergency points and 593 paramedics, while Civil Defence will deploy over 1,000 firefighters.
Authorities urge the public to follow safety guidelines, cooperate with police, and use emergency numbers if needed, ensuring a safe and enjoyable New Year’s Eve for all.
