Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) today revealed details of the Education 33 (E33) strategy, a visionary plan set to reshape the city's education system.

The announcement, made at a press conference at the Government of Dubai Media Office, aligns with Dubai’s goals of becoming a global leader in education and innovation.

Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA, highlighted that E33 reflects the forward-thinking vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

“This strategy empowers future generations with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a rapidly evolving world,”

she said.

Unveiled by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, E33 aims to provide world-class education while embracing Dubai’s rich multiculturalism. The strategy aligns with both the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Social Agenda 33.

E33 focuses on five key goals, supported by 28 transformative initiatives. These include increasing affordable school seat capacity, adding 3,000 Emirati teachers, and boosting education tourism by 2033. Additionally, it aims to position Dubai among the top 10 global cities for education.

The strategy also emphasizes personalized learning, integrating Emirati culture and values, and promoting lifelong education.

"We are not just preparing students for tomorrow, we are empowering them to lead it,"

Miran added.

The ambitious E33 strategy was shaped through extensive consultations with over 700 participants, including educators, parents, and students from 290 institutions, ensuring its relevance and potential impact across all levels of Dubai’s education system.
