Dubai World Trade Centre and Informa have formalised a strategic partnership to launch inD, a new business aimed at accelerating the growth of global B2B live events while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading international hub for business, innovation, and industry exchange.

First announced in March 2025, inD brings together DWTC’s established portfolio of flagship B2B event brands with Informa’s international scale, sector expertise, and global reach. The joint venture is designed to drive expansion across the UAE, the wider super-region, and international markets at a time of rising demand for high-impact B2B experiences.

The new entity will manage more than 40 major B2B brands spanning high-growth sectors such as healthcare, energy, aviation, food and beverage, information and communications technology, and cybersecurity. Flagship events include Gulfood, GITEX Global, Dubai Airshow, Middle East Energy, WHX, and GISEC. Combined, these brands are projected to generate more than US$650 million in revenues in 2026, supported by a strong forward growth pipeline.

The launch coincides with a significant expansion of Dubai’s event infrastructure. The Dubai Exhibition Centre is set to add 140,000 square metres of capacity in 2026, strengthening the city’s ability to host large-scale international exhibitions and conventions.

inD’s first major event in 2026 will be Gulfood, followed closely by WHX Dubai and WHX Labs Dubai, all of which will run across DWTC’s flagship venues at an unprecedented scale. Together, these events are expected to attract tens of thousands of exhibitors and professionals from across the globe, underscoring Dubai’s growing influence in the global B2B events landscape.
