Dubai World Trade Centre delivered a standout performance in 2025, welcoming nearly 3 million attendees and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for business events and trade.
DWTC recorded 2.97 million visitors across 401 events, marking a 12 percent increase in attendance and a 6 percent rise in total events compared to the previous year. Growth was led by a robust calendar of international exhibitions, conferences and consumer events held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
MICE events remained the core driver, with 134 events attracting 2.19 million participants. International engagement was strong, with overseas visitors accounting for 43 percent of total MICE attendance. Exhibitor participation also expanded, surpassing 63,000 companies, most of them international.
The year also marked a milestone with the completion of Phase 1 of the Dubai Exhibition Centre expansion, adding significant capacity for large-scale global events ahead of 2026.
Flagship exhibitions continued to perform strongly. Gulfood Manufacturing led growth with a 12 percent increase in participation, while GITEX Global recorded a 10 percent rise. DWTC also expanded internationally, hosting editions of GITEX in Europe and Africa and increasing its presence in Asia.
Sector-wise, healthcare led in attendance, followed by technology and food sectors, reflecting alignment with Dubai’s economic priorities under the D33 agenda.
Meanwhile, DWTC’s integrated agency DXB LIVE delivered over 440 events globally, expanding operations across 13 cities.
With continued infrastructure investment, rising global participation and a diversified event portfolio, DWTC’s 2025 results underscore Dubai’s growing influence as a leading destination for international business and industry collaboration.
