Under the patronage of The Executive Council of Dubai, the Dubai Youth Council hosted the ‘Dubai Youth Forum’ today at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library.

The forum brought together top officials, industry experts, and young talents to discuss the vital role of youth in shaping Dubai’s strategic vision and sustainable development.

Held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, the event unveiled several youth-focused initiatives aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and enhancing their social contributions. These initiatives align with Dubai’s core values and community principles.

Distinguished attendees included Omar Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council of Dubai; Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority; and other senior officials from government and private sectors.

Coinciding with the announcement of 2025 as the ‘Year of Community’ by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti emphasized the importance of youth in national development.

“Youth are pioneers of the future, driving innovation and progress. Empowering them is crucial to fostering social cohesion and achieving ambitious goals,”

he stated.

Khaled Al Nuaimi reiterated the UAE leadership’s commitment to youth empowerment, stating,

“Strategic initiatives and projects ensure robust support for youth, enabling them to excel across diverse fields.”

The forum announced 10 key youth-centric initiatives, including the Future Readiness Youth Program by Dubai Civil Defense, Your Digital Accelerator by Dubai Digital Authority, and Generation of Entrepreneurs by Dubai Chambers, among others. These initiatives focus on skill development, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

A major highlight was the launch of the ‘Dubai Youth Values Charter’ titled ‘My Values, My Future,’ outlining core principles to empower youth while preserving Dubai’s cultural identity.

The event concluded with inspiring success stories from Emirati youth, recognition of outstanding young individuals, and an exhibition of youth-focused initiatives. Attendees lauded the forum as a dynamic platform fostering meaningful youth engagement and development.
