The General Network of Government Communications (GNGC), affiliated with the General Secretariat of The Executive Council of Dubai, held its quarterly meeting at Dubai International Airport as part of its ongoing to foster strategic integration between government entities.

The meeting reflected on the collaborative efforts of various government entities to adopt advanced technology and innovations with a view to enhance traveler safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Key strategic initiatives were discussed to showcase Dubai as a premier global destination, attracting visitors from around the world.

In his opening remarks, Ahmed Al Mahri, Assistant Secretary-General for Government Communication and Secretariat Affairs, praised the unified approach among government entities, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. He stressed that collaboration is integral to the successful delivery of Dubai's global achievements and its reputation as a world-class destination.

Major General Ali Atiq Bin Lahej, Director of the General Department of Airports Security at Dubai Police, attributed Dubai airports' success to the inspiring leadership, supported by institutional work across sectors.

He further emphasized,

“Dubai Police firmly believes in the paramount importance and impact of effective and sustainable communication with other entities for its pivotal role elevating performance levels and ensuring the realization of shared objectives. I extend heartfelt gratitude to those responsible for fostering communication and express appreciation to all members involved.”

Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Airports, highlighted the airport's role as a gateway to Dubai and its commitment to reinforcing Dubai's global identity.

Al Joker stated,

"Dubai Airports' strategic significance is demonstrated by its role as the primary gateway to the emirate, welcoming an influx of guests into Dubai.. With this in mind, we consistently prioritize bolstering the identity and reputation of the Dubai government, ensuring seamless services and facilities that epitomize Dubai's leading position on the global stage."

From her side, Budoor Ali, Director of Government Communication at the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, commended the proactive engagement of diverse government sectors in supporting the network to foster ongoing collaboration among entities. She emphasized the dynamic evolution of government communication and highlighted its role in narrating Dubai's distinctive journey.

The General Network of Government Communications members affirmed the importance of collaboration among government entities to present a unified government image and enhance communication with the public and visitors.
