Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has reached a historic milestone, recording 17,891 private jet movements in 2024, a 7% increase from the previous year.

December alone witnessed over 2,600 movements, marking a 51% surge compared to December 2023—solidifying MBRAH’s position as the busiest hub for business aviation in the Middle East.

This unprecedented growth is attributed to Dubai’s expanding global prominence as a hub for business, tourism, and world-class events. The emirate welcomed 18.72 million international visitors in 2024, further enhancing its appeal to high-net-worth individuals and corporate travelers.

Tariq Bin Ghalaita, General Aviation Director at MBRAH, expressed enthusiasm over the milestone, stating:

“This achievement reinforces Al Maktoum International Airport’s status as the region’s leading business aviation hub. In 2024, we signed multiple agreements with top aviation players and launched cutting-edge facilities, ensuring sustained growth in the sector.”

MBRAH, a key component of Dubai South, offers a premier free-zone environment for aerospace giants, private jet operators, and aviation service providers. It also houses maintenance centers, training institutes, and state-of-the-art infrastructure, making it a critical player in Dubai’s vision to become a global aviation capital.

As Dubai continues its upward trajectory in private aviation, MBRAH remains committed to fostering innovation and excellence in the sector.
