Dubai's Museum of the Future will make its mark at the prestigious South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas, from March 7-15, 2025.

The museum will present Dubai's forward-thinking vision through 20 activations, panel discussions, and interactive experiences, showcasing the city's ambition in technology, foresight, and culture.

SXSW, renowned for its blend of conferences, festivals, and specialized activities in technology, film, music, and culture, will host the Museum of the Future House as part of the Dubai Future Foundation’s sponsorship of the event’s 2050 Track. The museum’s participation aligns with discussions on key topics such as lunar living, AI, and the future of food.

Majed Al Mansoori, Executive Director of the Museum of the Future, expressed that the museum’s involvement offers a unique opportunity to introduce Dubai’s innovative spirit to a global audience.

"By participating in SXSW, we will demonstrate Dubai’s ambition to shape a positive future for humanity,"

said Al Mansoori.

Visitors will engage with expert-led panels and AI-powered interactive exhibits, including Earth Dreams, a groundbreaking digital artwork by renowned artist Refik Anadol. The exhibit transforms real environmental data into dynamic visual narratives, also featured at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

Key figures such as UAE astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri, Canadian astronaut Shawna Pandya, and influential industry leaders will share their insights on shaping the future across various sectors. SXSW 2025 promises to be an exciting platform for Dubai’s vision of innovation and creativity.
