Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Hospitality and Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to redefine event catering and hospitality in the UAE and the wider GCC.

The partnership brings together DWTC’s award-winning events expertise with EKFC’s global leadership in high-volume food production to deliver seamless, large-scale event solutions.

The collaboration positions both organisations as premier partners for mega, high-profile, and prestige events. Together, they will offer end-to-end services, from full event execution—including operations, staffing, equipment, and catering—to bespoke menu development and specialised culinary production tailored to diverse event formats.

“This partnership marks a pivotal milestone for DWTC Hospitality,”

said Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC.

“By combining our venue management and hospitality expertise with Emirates Flight Catering’s production capabilities, we are setting new standards in quality, innovation, and service excellence across the region.”

Shahreyar Nawabi, CEO of EKFC, added that the partnership merges complementary strengths to deliver consistent excellence at any scale, enhancing Dubai’s growing reputation as a global events destination.

The collaboration begins immediately, with the upcoming Dubai Airshow serving as its first high-profile engagement. Both organisations will cater to key clients, including Dubai Civil Aviation's Royal Pavilion and the UAE Ministry of Defence, and extend their services to events such as the Dubai International Boat Show, Dubai World Cup, WHX, and GITEX Global.

Across DWTC’s Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre, innovative service formats like food trucks and semi-permanent outlets will enhance flexibility and accessibility, while curated retail-ready offerings reflect a shared focus on quality and culinary innovation.

With the AED 10 billion expansion of the Dubai Exhibition Centre underway, the partnership is set to support some of Dubai’s largest and most prestigious events, reinforcing the city’s position as a world-class hub for hospitality and large-scale experiences.
