The DXB Snow Run is set to return to Ski Dubai on May 17, bringing runners back to a sub-zero course in one of the city’s most distinctive sporting events.
Organised in partnership with Dubai Sports Council, the seventh edition aligns with the UAE’s Year of Family theme, promoting unity, inclusion, and active living.
Hosted at Ski Dubai, the race offers participants a rare opportunity to run in temperatures of minus four degrees Celsius. Following last year’s turnout of 700 runners representing 70 nationalities, organisers expect strong participation once again.
The event is open to men and women aged 13 and above, with two race categories available: a 3km route consisting of three loops and a 5km route covering five loops. Participants can compete individually or in teams of five, encouraging both personal achievement and group engagement.
Registration remains open until May 14 through PremierOnline, with entry fees set at AED 120 for the 3km race and AED 150 for the 5km. Team entries are priced at AED 110 per person.
All finishers will receive commemorative medals, while top performers in each category will be awarded prizes. A newly introduced spectator pass, priced at AED 50, allows supporters to watch from a dedicated area and includes a complimentary hot beverage.
The DXB Snow Run continues to highlight the role of community-driven fitness events in fostering connection and well-being across Dubai’s diverse population.
