Dubai International Airport (DXB) is infusing the spirit of global sports into its summer offerings with the launch of the inaugural DXB Games.
Coinciding with a major international sporting event in Paris, DXB is transforming Terminal 3's Family Zone into a lively sports arena from 26 July to 11 August. Travellers can participate in activities such as a bike sprint, football keep-ups challenge, and a basketball shootout, competing for bronze, silver, and gold medals that come with cash vouchers.
Michelle Lee, Vice President of Brand and Communications at Dubai Airports, highlighted the event's alignment with the global celebration of international diversity. She expressed anticipation for the joy and camaraderie that the DXB Games will bring to travellers.
In addition to the games, live broadcasts of the international sports festival will be available at various food and beverage outlets within the airport, accompanied by special menus to enhance the festive atmosphere. This initiative aims to provide travellers with an engaging and memorable experience, celebrating sportsmanship and cultural diversity at one of the world's busiest international hubs.
