Eaton and Jafza Partner to Build Sustainable Manufacturing Campus in Dubai
Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) and Eaton, a global leader in intelligent power management, have entered into a landmark agreement to construct a new sustainable campus in Dubai.
This initiative aims to consolidate Eaton’s commercial, manufacturing, and support operations under one roof, bolstering its capabilities in advanced manufacturing of electrical and electronic components crucial for sectors like data centers, buildings, and solar energy.
Spanning over 500,000 square feet, construction of the state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to commence in 2025 with completion anticipated by 2026. The campus will house advanced research, engineering, and manufacturing facilities, including a cutting-edge R&D center dedicated to sustainable manufacturing, power management, machine learning, AI, and related technologies.
Expected to create approximately 700 jobs encompassing high-skilled engineering and advanced manufacturing roles, the project underscores Dubai's strategic push towards becoming a global hub for high-tech manufacturing and innovation. The facility will exemplify sustainable building practices and embrace Industry 4.0 principles, leveraging automation, analytics, and advanced robotics to optimize production processes.
