Under the theme "Future Health Now", Emirates Health Services (EHS) is set to participate as the exclusive health services partner at the 50th edition of Arab Health 2025, taking place from January 27 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

EHS is unveiling 19 innovative projects, including 13 first-time regional and global launches, with a dedicated focus on “Family Health and Community Care.” Highlighted within this theme are three groundbreaking initiatives, two of which are being introduced globally, in collaboration with international partners.

Dr. Essam Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of EHS's Medical Services Sector, emphasized the importance of family health, stating,

“Families form the foundation of communities, and investing in their health reflects our leadership’s commitment to enhancing quality of life and fostering stability.”

A notable project is the “Usrati Bundle,” developed with government and regulatory partners, offering integrated services spanning marriage to child education. This initiative includes a Premarital Genetic Testing program capable of detecting 570 genes linked to hereditary diseases, promoting informed reproductive choices and healthier families.

EHS is also debuting its In-Utero Gene Editing research project, in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, to address genetic disorders such as Phenylketonuria and Sickle Cell Anemia using lipid nanoparticle technology for gene correction during pregnancy or infancy.

Additionally, EHS is introducing an AI-powered early breast cancer detection program tailored for educators. The program leverages the advanced Bexa device, which complements traditional mammography to enhance detection accuracy and improve survival outcomes.

EHS’s participation underscores the UAE’s commitment to pioneering healthcare advancements that prioritize family and community well-being.
