Dubai Municipality has released the operational hours for slaughterhouses across the emirate in preparation for Eid Al-Adha 2024.
The adjusted timings are aimed at ensuring seamless operations during the festival period, which spans from June 15 to June 18.
Dubai Municipality has further expanded the capacity of its slaughterhouses to accommodate approximately 37,000 sacrifices and carcasses, anticipating the community's needs during this significant religious observance.
These measures are part of the municipality's efforts to facilitate the rituals associated with Eid Al-Adha and to ensure the welfare and convenience of residents during this important occasion.
Here are the timings of the slaughterhouses:
Al Qusais slaughterhouse
Arafah Day - 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
First, second and third days of Eid - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Al Quoz and Al Lisaili abattoirs
Arafah Day - 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
The first, second and third days of Eid - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Moqsab
Arafah and the first day of Eid - 7:30 am to 7:00 pm
The second and third days of Eid - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
In Abu Dhabi, the slaughterhouses will operate daily from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM throughout the week. This decision follows earlier announcements by the Abu Dhabi municipality, which similarly outlined operational hours for Eid Al-Adha.
