Emaar Charity Foundation Surpasses AED 35 Million Contribution to Dubai's 'Jood' Platform

Dubai's Community Development Authority (CDA) announced a remarkable milestone: Emaar Charity Foundation’s contributions through the Jood platform have surpassed AED 35 million across 2023 and 2024, bolstering community development efforts in Dubai.

This funding has been channeled primarily into the ‘Bayti’ initiative, which provides permanent housing for low-income Emirati families, enhancing stability and quality of life for beneficiaries.

Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, CDA’s Director General, praised Emaar’s dedication, emphasizing the foundation’s role as a key private sector supporter of the Jood platform.

“The Jood platform enables companies and business leaders to engage in social projects across health, education, and housing, ensuring contributions reach areas of highest need,”

she stated.

Ahmed Al Matrooshi, Chairman of Emaar Charity Foundation and CEO of Emaar Properties, highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to sustainable social progress.

“Our involvement in the Bayti initiative reflects Emaar’s dedication to creating a cohesive society by supporting families in need,”

he said.

The Jood platform serves as Dubai’s central hub for charitable contributions, aligning with the Dubai Social Agenda 33. The Bayti initiative, recognized as a pioneering social project, offers a transparent channel for community contributions, drawing support from Dubai’s major institutions, including Dubai Police, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment. Through these partnerships, the platform fosters a collaborative, sustainable approach to social support in Dubai, impacting lives across health, education, and housing sectors.
