Emaar has been announced as a strategic partner of the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, strengthening the UAE’s push to build a globally competitive content creation economy rooted in innovation and sustainability.
The partnership was revealed ahead of the summit, which will be organised by the UAE Government Media Office from January 9 to 11, 2026, across Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future in Dubai. Held under the theme “Content for Good,” the event is recognised as the world’s largest gathering focused on the content creation economy.
The collaboration reflects growing cooperation between key sectors in the UAE to support creators with advanced infrastructure, creative platforms, and opportunities to turn ideas into scalable global projects. It also reinforces the country’s position as a leading host of major international events.
Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar Properties, said the partnership aligns with Emaar’s commitment to positioning the UAE as a global hub for content creation. He noted that Emaar’s expertise in smart and sustainable cities, real estate, hospitality, retail, and entertainment offers creators distinctive environments to tell impactful stories, supported by iconic destinations such as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.
Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, said Emaar’s involvement adds significant value to the summit and strengthens efforts to attract global creative talent. He added that Emaar’s projects provide compelling settings for producing meaningful and inspiring content.
Through the summit, Emaar will showcase its approach to smart urban development to an audience exceeding one billion people worldwide. Content creators will also gain access to upcoming projects, enabling them to highlight sustainability and artificial intelligence in modern city design.
Emaar reported real estate sales of approximately AED61 billion in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 22 percent year-on-year increase and reflecting strong investor confidence.
