Emaar Properties, revealed its colossal waterfront project, named The Oasis by Emaar, with a staggering investment of $20 billion (Dh 73.4 billion). Spanning an expansive land area of over 100 million square feet or 9.4 million square meters, this development is set to become one of Dubai's largest and most impressive. The focus lies on offering 7,000 residential units, emphasizing spacious mansions and villas with generous plots, affording residents picturesque views of water canals, lakes, and parks.
The launch event for this project was graced by the presence of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Reflecting on Emaar's unwavering commitment to urban marvels, Khan expressed his admiration for Dubai, a city that continually astonishes with its unrivaled elegance and remarkable advancements. The Oasis by Emaar stands as yet another masterpiece in Dubai's vibrant landscape, exemplifying the city's status as a globally renowned metropolis.
With a focus on creating a resort-style living experience, the development allocates 25 percent of its land to lakes, water canals, parks, jogging tracks, green spaces, and an array of luxurious amenities. This commitment to recreational spaces ensures that residents can enjoy a high-quality living environment and actively pursue a healthy lifestyle.
In addition, The Oasis by Emaar will boast a substantial retail area covering 1.5 million square feet, offering a diverse range of lifestyle options and a variety of dining establishments. Ideally situated in a prime location in Dubai, surrounded by upscale developments, the project enjoys close proximity to four international golf courses, catering to residents' love for golf. Furthermore, it benefits from its convenient location just a 20-minute drive away from Downtown Dubai.
While the exact location of the project has not been officially disclosed by the company, industry sources suggest that it is positioned in the vicinity of Academic City Road.
Emaar boasts an extensive land bank of 1.7 billion sqft in the UAE and key international markets. Since 2002, it has successfully delivered over 94,000 residential units across Dubai and other global destinations. Emaar's impressive portfolio also includes a significant number of revenue-generating assets, with over 1,300,000 square meters dedicated to leasing activities and a collection of 37 hotels and resorts offering a total of 8,134 rooms. Currently, approximately 37 percent of Emaar's revenue is derived from its shopping malls, retail ventures, hospitality, and leisure sectors, as well as its international subsidiaries.
